искупа́ться [ees-ku-pá-tsa] Verb, perfective. Imperfective - купа́ться

to take a bath, to have a swim

Examples

kak zhe hó-chee-tsa ees-ku-pá-tsa v é-taî praz-rách-naî va-dyé

Ah, how I want to have a swim in this clear water!
Вы как хоти́те, а я пойду́ искупа́юсь!

vy kak ha-tée-tye, a ya paî-du ees-ku-pá-yus'

You do what you want, but I'll go for a swim!

бри́ться [brée-tsa] Verb, imperfective. Perfective - побри́ться

to shave (oneself), to get a shave

Examples

Он бре́ется ка́ждый день.

on bryé-ee-tsa kázh-dyî dyen'

He shaves every day.
Ди́ма переста́л бри́ться и отрасти́л бо́роду.

dée-ma pee-ree-stál brée-tsa ee at-ras-téel bó-ra-du

Dima stopped shaving and grew a beard.

постри́чься [past-réech'-sya] Verb, perfective. Imperfective - пострига́ться

to get a haircut

Examples

Я хоте́ла бы постри́чься, э́то возмо́жно сейча́с?

ya ha-tyé-la by past-téech'-sya, é-ta vaz-mózh-na seeî-chás

I would like (to get) a haircut, is it possible now?
Он реши́л измени́ть и́мидж и ко́ротко постри́гся.
