Examples

Examples

Э́ту ку́ртку нельзя́ стира́ть, но мо́жно сдать в химчи́стку.

é-tu kúrt-ku neel'-zya stee-rát', no mózh-na sdat' f heem-chéest-ku

This jacket can not be washed, but you can give it to dry clean.

убо́рка [u-bór-ka] Noun, feminine

tidying up, cleaning, doing up

Examples

Здесь давно́ пора́ сде́лать убо́рку.

zdyes' dav-nó pa-rá sdyé-lat' u-bór-ku

It's high time to do the cleaning here.
Убо́рка ко́мнаты заняла́ о́коло ча́са.

u-bór-ka kóm-na-ty za-nee-lá ó-ka-la chá-sa

The room cleaning took about an hour.

суши́ться [su-shée-tsa] Verb, imperfective. Perfective - вы́сушиться

to dry up (to be in the process of drying up)

Examples

Hang the laundry to dry up please.

to pat, to caress; to iron

Examples

Do you want to pat the puppy?
Я погла́дила вчера́ все твои́ руба́шки.

ya pa-glá-dee-la fchee-rá fsye tva-ée ru-básh-kee
