I do not understand a word from what he says.

I never understood how this works.

ла́дно [lád-na] Particle

all right! agreed! okay! deal!

Examples

Ла́дно, договори́лись!

lád-na, da-ga-va-rée-lees'

Okay, deal!
Е́сли друго́го вы́бора нет, тогда́ ла́дно.

yés-lee gru-gó-va vý-ba-ra nyet, tag-dá lád-na

If there is no other choice, then okay.

собра́ться [sab-rá-tsa] Verb, perfective. Imperfective - собира́ться

to get ready; to get together

Examples

Вы уже́ собрали́сь?

vy u-zhé sab-ra-lées'

Are you ready? (Have you finished packing/getting ready already?)
Оппози́ция собрала́сь на ми́тинг.

a-pa-zée-tsee-ya sab-ra-lás' na mée-teeng

The opposition gathered for a rally.

Text me (write me) if you change your mind.

собира́ться [sa-bee-rá-tsa] Verb, imperfective. Perfective - собра́ться

to prepare, to get ready; to be going, to be about, to intend; to gather, to assemble

Вла́сти го́рода собира́ются внедри́ть автомати́ческое распознава́ние лиц на вокза́лах.

vlás-tee gó-ra-da sa-be-rá-yu-tsa vneed-réet' af-ta-ma-tée-chees-ka-ye ras-paz-na-vá-nee-ye leets na vak-zá-lah

The city’s authorities are going to introduce automatic face recognition at stations.
