па́риться [pá-ree-tsa] Verb, imperfective. Perfective - запа́риться, попа́риться

to take a steam bath, to sweat; (slang) to worry

  • Кто в ба́не па́рится, тот никогда́ не ста́рится.

    kto v bá-nye pá-ree-tsa, tot nee-kag-dá nye stá-ree-tsa

    Who goes to a bathhouse never gets old.

  • Не па́рься, я сама́ всё сде́лаю.

    nye pár'-sya, ya sa-má vsyó sdyé-la-yu

    Do not worry, I'll do it myself.

сдуре́ть [sdu-ryét'] Verb, perfective

to become a fool, to go crazy (slang)

  • Они́ совсе́м там сдуре́ли.

    a-née saf-syém tam sdu-ryé-lee

    They went completely out of their minds there.

  • Сто́лько противоречи́вой информа́ции, сдуре́ть мо́жно.

    stól'-ka pra-tee-va-ree-chée-vaî een-far-má-tsee-ee, sdu-ryét' mózh-na

    So much contradictory information, one can loose his mind.

кача́ть права́ [ka-chát' pra-vá] Phrase

(slang) persistently demand something referring to one's rights

  • Тут кака́я-то тётка пришла́ и права́ кача́ет.

    tut ka-ká-ya-ta tyót-ka preesh-la ee pra-vá ka-chá-eet

    There is a woman here, she came and demands things.

  • А ты что тут права́ кача́ешь? Ты кто тако́й?

    a ty chto tut pra-vá ka-chá-eesh? ty kto ta-kóî

    And you, why are you demanding things here? Who are you?
