Хорошо. К сожалению, выпуски на следующий месяц уже записаны, но все новые мы постараемся произносить помедленнее.

Anita says:
Hello, is де́лится in the second example used as passive? I know делить can mean divide or share. What is the difference between делить(ся) and разделить(ся) in meaning divide?
Learn Russian Words says:
Hello Anita,
Делится is a reflexive verb. It can be literally translated as “it divides itself”.
Reflexive verbs are a different way to do passive in Russian. You can learn more about them here.
Делить(ся) is an imperfecive verb, разделить(ся) is perfective.
– Делить на ноль нельзя.
You cannot divide by zero. (generic action, imperfective)
– Раздели 8 на 2.
Divide 8 by 2. (do it now, one-time action, perfective)
