"Пока" is an informal way to say "bye" in Russian and you should only use it with your friends or family. In other cases, use "до свида́ния".

A few other informal ways to say "bye" in Russian are:

- счастли́во
- уви́димся (see you)
- уда́чи (good luck)

Examples of "Bye" in Russian

  • Ну всё, мне пора́, пока́!

    nu fsyo, mnye pa-rá, pa-ká

    That's it, it's time for me to go, bye!

  • Всем пока́! До за́втра!

    fsyem pa-ká! da závt-ra

    Bye everybody! See you tomorrow!
