to lie (position), to be somewhere (about inanimate objects)

Examples

  • Хва́тит лежа́ть на дива́не, пойди́ погуля́й с соба́кой!

    hvá-teet lee-zhát' na dee-vá-nye, paî-dée pa-gu-lyáî s sa-bá-kaî

    Enough lying on the couch, go walk the dog!

  • Ключи́ лежа́т на подоко́ннике.

    klyu-chée lee-zhát na pa-da-kón-nee-kye

    The keys are on the windowsill.
