накра́ситься [na-krá-see-tsa] Verb, perfective. Imperfective - кра́ситься

to make up one's face

Examples

У неё ухо́дит два часа́, что́бы накра́ситься.

u nee-yó u-hó-deet dva chee-sá, chtó-by na-krá-see-tsa

It takes her two hours to make up.
Куда́ ты так си́льно накра́силась?

ku-dá ty tak séel'-na na-krá-see-las'

Why did you put so much makeup? (Where are you going so made up?)

прихора́шиваться [pree-ha-rá-shee-va-tsa] Verb, imperfective

to smarten oneself up, to spruce up

Examples

В са́мом конце́ за́ла во́зле зе́ркала прихора́шивалась де́вушка.

well-dressed, stylish, smart

Examples

Why are you so dressed up, any celebration?
По слу́чаю пра́здника все де́ти пришли́ наря́дными.
