Below are Russian sentences that are used as examples in our series “Russian word of the day”. Every sentence comes with translation, transcription and audio. You can use them for your additional practice or to find out how some Russian words are used.
How to use the search
To use the search through the sentences, type a word and press Enter or click the “Search” button. Use Е instead of Ё. The search is case insensitive so you can use the upper or the lower case.
The search does not recognize different forms of the same word. I.e. if you are looking for some examples of the word “хороший”, you should type “хорош”, so you get “хороший”, “хорошая”, “хорошее” and all other variations.
